Participants are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before the advertised start time of the event. Event start times listed on our website or advertisements indicate when you should be at the venue, not when the dating sessions will commence. The sessions will start once the majority of participants are checked in. Refunds or credits are not provided for session start time delays due to the check-in process or event explanations.
Ticket prices cover the cost of participation in the event itself and not any food or drink. While some events may offer food or drinks, these are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not the focal point of the event. No refunds or compensation will be provided if you miss out on these offerings. Participants agree to purchase at least one drink or food item during the event to support the venue and ensure the continuation of our partnership. Water does not count towards this requirement.

You are not allowed to record or photograph our events. Customers who attend our events expect a reasonable amount of privacy given the nature of our event. You may not record anyone at our event without written permission from us and the other participants. Failure to abide by this rule will mean that you will bear full responsibility for any damages or legal fees incurred by our company as a result of your recording. You may not post any videos of our event on social media or YouTube without prior written permission from us. The terms and conditions governing the Event, which you agreed to by purchasing a ticket and attending, clearly state that recording is not allowed. These terms are binding and enforceable, regardless of the platform through which you acquired your ticket.
You acknowledge that while NY Minute Dating endeavors to categorize events accurately (e.g., "Single Professionals," "Singles with Advanced Degrees," ethnic-specific events, etc.), we do not conduct background checks to verify a participant's employment, education level, or ethnicity. A small percentage (less than 10%) of participants may not fall within the advertised category. You agree to sign up for events that align with your self-identified category and within the recommended ages. No refunds or credits will be provided if you meet individuals outside the description of the event.

NY Minute Dating reserves the right to enforce age restrictions for its events to maintain their intended format. This practice is lawful, as private social events are not considered public accommodations under federal or New York State law. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title II) does not prohibit age-based criteria for private social gatherings, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) applies only to employment, not recreational events. Additionally, NY Minute Dating complies with New York State Liquor Authority (NYSLA) regulations, as venues serving alcohol may impose age-related restrictions. Participants who do not meet the stated age criteria will not be permitted entry and may be redirected to a more suitable event, with no obligation for a refund or credit.
NY Minute Dating offers a Guarantee: If you do not meet someone you are interested in during an event (indicated by not selecting anyone on our website), you are eligible for a free entry to another event. You must request this within 5 days post-event. Failure to pick anyone indicates you didn't meet a match, and hence you are eligible for this offer. However, if you select someone, it indicates interest, and you will not be eligible for the free event. We make no guarantee of a mutual match at our events.
The content on NYMinuteDating.com, including images and text, is copyrighted and proprietary. Downloading, sharing, or reproducing any content without permission is strictly prohibited. By participating in our events, you acknowledge the health risks associated with infectious diseases like COVID-19 and agree to adhere to all safety measures, including social distancing and wearing face coverings. NY Minute Dating cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. You should not participate in our events if you have recently experienced COVID-19 symptoms, traveled to high-risk areas, or been exposed to the virus. You agree to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and release NY Minute Dating from any claims or liabilities related to COVID-19.
The participant agrees that, prior to posting any reviews, comments, or public complaints about NY Minute Dating, they will first contact the company directly to discuss and resolve any issues. This is to ensure that the company has an opportunity to address any concerns without public disparagement.
Should the participant breach this agreement by making disparaging remarks or publishing negative reviews online without first providing the company with the opportunity to resolve the matter, the participant agrees to be held responsible for any damages incurred by the company as a result of such actions, up to $1,000 per person who has viewed such disparaging content. This amount represents a genuine pre-estimate of the losses NY Minute Dating or Pro Singles Events USA LLC would incur in such circumstances.
The participant acknowledges that this non-disparagement clause is a material term of this agreement, the breach of which would cause irreparable harm to NY Minute Dating or Pro Singles Events USA LLC. All disputes arising under this clause will be settled by arbitration in the state of New York, with any costs associated with such arbitration to be borne by the client, not NY Minute Dating or Pro Singles Events USA LLC.
If any provision of this agreement, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions of this agreement. The remaining parts of this agreement shall continue in full force and effect as if the agreement had been executed with the invalid or unenforceable provision eliminated.
