We recently started having speed dating events at the Kazbar Lounge, a sexy Moroccan-themed bar/lounge inside the Marrakech Hotel in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We really like the folks there - and the place is perfect for speed dating.

The first time we had an event there the staff had set many things up for us already, such as a door sign for our speed dating event, and a sign at the bar with all the drink specials for our speed daters, and they gave us cards offering a free drink the next time someone came to the Kazbar, which we handed out to all our speed daters. All our participants thought the place was great, and they liked the offer of a free drink the next time they came by.

I was very excited about finding the Kazbar Lounge because I had been looking for a place in the Upper West Side where I could have events. In fact, during the week that I was contacting venues in the Upper West Side, a promoter of the Kazbar contacted me about possibly hosting some events there. The Kazbar turned out to be a dream come true for us. The staff there is very friendly, and the place is great.

Our speed dating events take place at the Kazbar Lounge, which is inside of the Marrakech Hotel. We were talking to one of the staff of the Kazbar when we were there, and asked about pricing of rooms. He told us that rooms can go for as low as $100 per night depending on the time of the year. During certain busy times of the year they can go for as much as $300 or so. The prices are more than reasonable - if you saw this place, and got their excellent customer treatment, you wouldn't mind paying twice or even three times as much.
